BACK FROM IRELAND!

Hello!
I just got back from a lovely eleven day trip of Ireland
with Jim West's Sew Many Places tour company.
Karla Alexander,
who has written several books including Stack the Deck
was our ever patient and happy guide.

I am thinking to review all 1,409 photos I took
to relive the wonderFULLness
and share a bit of each of our days with you...
little by little.

Above and below is the Blarney Castle.

Rock of Cashel (scaffolding for repair on left side).

I completely fell in love with all the sheep!
Our driver said the census showed that there are as many sheep as people in Ireland
6,000,000!!!

The following photos are to give you a feel of the land.
Green rolling hills
dotted with sheep, cowns, and horses
all liberatedly divided into a lovely patchwork!!!

A beehive hut made by monks in the Bronze Age.

The following photos are from the delightfully whimsical town of Dingle.

  2. Great pictures! Do you think the sheep have to fill out the census form too?!
