CONTINUING THE JOY IN FEBRUARY!

Ahhh!
Spring has sprung!

The joy continues...
in my Design 1 class...
with a study of value.
We are moving on to color!
Woohoo!!

(here's my value assignment with glue still drying)

My youngest turned 12!
How did THAT happen?
I am so gratefull to be "awake"
practicing love
and
enJOYing these wonderful boys!

The next class I am teaching
(JOY!)
is
at Aunt Mary's
THIS SATURDAY!!!

I am playing with future class ideas...
perhaps the pieced tickertape quilt

or from this magazine...

or this raw edged-
 confetti-
work in progress.

LOVE=JOY

and Valentine's Day is tomorrow!

I am currently in love with...
new fabric!

(read the top line!)

and
 making
(way too many)
 these little see through bags!
Who knew zippers were SO JOYfull?!!

(you can see my cute scissor charm through the bag!)

I am finding that...
as I continue to make
 JOY
my main focus this year,
not only is the season
feeling springier
but also I have
more spring in my step.
Nice!

CHEERS...

to
all the
 possibilities
of
JOY
in action!

  1. Those roses look scrumptious! Can that be a fabric description? YES! Thanks for your thoughtful posts!

  2. I'm in love with that Sunkissed fabric too. and oh yes, had to have that TYPE - it's marvelous although a large scale for me. Funny you're working on a pieced ticker tape - I'd been thinking along those lines too.
