I read that the Moors really valued water as it was scarce in Africa. I have been thinking a lot about water as it has been so hot and now it is quite humid too. Water is life. I begin sharing the pictures from the Alhambra with a few pictures of some of the lovely pools and fountains. Imagine...hot thick heat, a heavy scent of flowers, crickets and cicadas singing, birds chirping, and three silly boys poking and laughing....heavenly, just like the Sultana likes it!
