Kwiltz by Stephanie

We are in Magical Granada, Spain, home of the Alhambra. This morning we found this artist who makes boxes, table tops, and other creative pieces there are inlaid with different woods to get different colors and bone for white. He makes a sort of tube of wood and bone to get the pattern he wants, then makes thin slices to get a block, then lays the blocks together to get the pattern he wants. Sort of like a quilt, Kind of like fimo clay tubes I have seen to make beads.
